Popcorn

We are a small company with big ambitions. The two of us (Mike and Erin Valasek) decided in April of 2015 that we wanted to start up a locally-grown popcorn business in beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

Not only did we want to produce great-tasting popcorn, but as parents of four young children, we wanted to give them the opportunity to see how businesses are created, successfully-maintained and grown.

We knew that this would be an invaluable experience and, as you can see, they love advertising Mountaineer Popcorn!

We hope you enjoy our popcorn as much as our family does!

I stopped by and picked up my popcorn this afternoon and your store smelled so delicious! It smelled like birthday cake, yum yum! The little popcorn bags are packaged up so nicely and look and smell do good! I want to open a bag now and munch on some! Ha ha. I am excited to include these yummy treats in our baby shower gift bags to our guests. Thank you for making the transaction smooth and seamless. I will definitely be back for more of this delicious popcorn.

Best popcorn ever! I’m an out of towner from Ga whom ordered a 5 gallon bag of kettle corn popcorn for a event to make party favors that wasnt needed until a week later. When i tell you the popcorn taste like they had just been popped, they were super fresh yet a week later! The popcorn was one of the top subjects at the birthday dinner.

Mountaineer Popcorn Company is both super delicious and super easy to work with! We used them as a vendor for light snacks during a cocktail event, and everyone loved and commented on how tasty their various flavors were. The only down side was no leftovers to take home!

Mmmm mmm MMM! I stopped in to Hoot and Howl in Morgantown yesterday and picked up a bag of the Dill Pickle and Chesapeake popcorn. Lets just say I have NO idea where the whole bag of Dill Pickle and half of the bag of the Chesapeake went... Its definitely not all in my tummy.... especially since I only bought it yesterday... SOOO good! I'll definitely be back for more!

I wish there was a “love” button to push for this business!!! I might seriously have a problem... I visit weekly to get new flavors! My cousin and I are also small business owners and we love supporting our local community! (We also might be addicted to their popcorn!) We bought a tin and get it refilled all of the time! We haven’t brought home a flavor that’s lasted for more than a few days! It’s perfect for gifts as well! I love that you can sample any flavor before you buy it!

The popcorn is delicious! So many different flavors. No matter what you're in the mood for - they're bound to have something for your craving! I love the Red Velvet and peanut butter cup for sweet popcorn. The buffalo cheddar and dill pickle are my favorites for savory. They even do custom flavors for corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, etc. HIGHLY recommend Mountaineer Popcorn. Best part about them, they ship nationwide!
